BRUINS-MAPLE LEAFS GAME 7 MADE HISTORY

The Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs played a Game 7 to remember. The two Original Six clubs played an incredibly close game that went to overtime. Bruins superstar David Pastrnak, of course, secured the series for Boston with his OT winner.

With these two teams having the biggest fanbases in the sport, this matchup, understandably, brought in a ton of views. In fact, it is now one of the most-watched first-round games in the history of the NHL on ESPN.

Per ESPN PR, the Bruins and Maple Leafs' Game 7 was the most-viewed first-round matchup since 2012 and the third most-viewed first-round game ever. Along with that, it was the most-viewed Game 7 first-round matchup ever.

The Bruins and Maple Leafs averaged 3.2 million viewers for Game 7 and peaked at 4.1 million. These are some outstanding views, and it makes sense given these clubs' rivalry and how close they were in skill. However, in the end, the Bruins won, much to the excitement of the Boston faithful.
